Join CNS in thanking the wonderful artists who are participating in the 2026 Art & Soup Charity Event. Artists donate 35% of the proceeds of all art sales to CNS charitable care and programming, which provides charitable health care, hospice care and medical services to thousands of individuals in need throughout Utah each year.

2026 Featured Artist: Erin Blundell

Erin is a Utah-based artist who creates mixed media collages that investigate the mechanics of perception and memory. Her work examines how the human mind processes an endless stream of visual information, transforming fragments into meaning through the simple act of layering.

Her artistic foundation combines formal training from the University of Utah with real-world design experience from the apparel industry, creating a unique synthesis of fine art sensibility and commercial clarity. Teaching visual art to children and educators through Tanner Dance revealed the profound wisdom in approaching creation without preconception—a philosophy that now drives her studio practice.

Each collage becomes an exploration of consciousness itself, where colors and textures create depth beyond the physical surface. She layers forms as fragments of experience, allowing bits and pieces of dreams to intermingle with memory. The work reflects her fascination with how individual images relate to one another, how the disconnected becomes connected, and how personal worldviews emerge from this beautiful confusion. Through this fractured yet unified approach, she reveals the hidden coherence within life's visual cacophony.
