During his years of service, Garth spent time on several ships, including the USS Enterprise and USS Wood. He enlisted in 1961 and continued to serve until his discharge on May 31, 1982. Garth was on the USS Enterprise around the Philippines. He got off ship 3 days before it went to Vietnam and was sent home for training, so he was stateside during Vietnam.

The CNS Honor Salute Program is a way to give one final tribute of appreciation to hospice patients who bravely served our country. The program is made possible thanks to the generous support of donors who volunteer their time or contribute monetary support. You can help support the Honor Salute Program by donating.
