Guy Cowlishaw has always been an avid classic car enthusiast, so when the 79-year-old hospice patient receiving services from the CNS Provo Branch was given the opportunity to have a CNS Wish fulfilled, he didn’t hesitate on what he wanted: a ride in a classic car. The CNS Wish Director immediately got to work and connected with Don Sisson, a resident of Utah County, who said he would be honored to take Guy for a ride.
Don showed up in his classic ’51 Mercury Cruiser and took Guy for the ride of a lifetime. With windows down and the wind blowing in his face, Guy was taken down State Street, where people waved at him, told him “Nice Ride,” and simply stared at Guy and his cool ride. Guy couldn’t get the grin off his face. It was truly a day he will never forget.
The CNS Wish Program is possible thanks to the generosity of donors. Want to help grant wishes? Donate today!
