It’s a familiar sight in the mountains of Utah during the fall when the leaves are changing: A family gathered together for a photo together. These photos of the Miller family, however, carry much more meaning than the typical autumn family photos. They are the product of the CNS Wish of hospice patient Dave Miller. Dave asked for a family photo with all the autumn leaves, and thanks to his wife, Carma, who wrangled up the family; Michelle Deppe Photography; and the CNS Wish team, Dave’s Wish was granted on a gorgeous fall day in October.
The CNS Wish Program is a special program for CNS hospice patients that allows them to relive a cherished memory or experience a new adventure. It may be something big like flying in a plane or something simpler, yet just as meaningful, such as getting the whole family together for a photo.
