Elizabeth Ettenger, an accomplished grant writer and fundraising strategist, has been named the new Director of Philanthropy for Community Nursing Services (CNS). She brings over a decade of experience securing millions of dollars in funding for nonprofit organizations across the country. As Principal of Fine Print LLC since 2014, Elizabeth built a thriving consultancy exclusively through word-of-mouth referrals, partnering with organizations ranging from healthcare providers and educational foundations to cultural institutions and economic development agencies.
Elizabeth is delighted to join the team at CNS as Director of Philanthropy. Previously, Elizabeth served as Director of Philanthropy at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake and Director of Development at The Leonardo Museum.
Past roles also include Executive Director of the Missoula Education Foundation and Grants Manager at Ravalli Head Start, where Elizabeth led successful multi-year federal grant applications, including a highly competitive Early Head Start–Child Care Partnership grant where less than 2% of applications were funded nationally.
With expertise spanning grant strategy, donor stewardship, event planning, and nonprofit leadership, Elizabeth is known for delivering funding solutions that are both strategic and sustainable. She holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Journalism from Kalamazoo College and has completed graduate coursework in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Montana. She is currently working towards obtaining CFRE licensure.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her college sweetheart and husband of 14 years and their three young children, as well as exploring the Salt Lake region and all that it has to offer families. She enjoys quilting, hiking, baking, and is a longtime book club member, where she (sometimes) reads the assigned books.
