CNS appreciates everyone who attended, sponsored and participated in the 26th Annual Celebration of Art & Soup.
Art & Soup is a premier Salt Lake City event that celebrates creativity, cuisine and community while raising awareness about the CNS Charitable Care Program - donating essential health care to thousands of Utahns in need every year. Art & Soup took place April 9 & 10, 2014, at the Salt Palace.
Jeffery Pugh was the featured artist, and he was joinied by 39 other celebrated and up-and-coming Utah artists. Erin Berrett received the People's Choice Award for Favorite Artist. This year, a special Hospice Memorial Fund was established to donate end-of-life care to economically disadvantaged, uninsured Utahns. At CNS, we believe that everyone deserves the guiding hand of hospice care to navigate the dying process. This year, the Memorial Hospice Fund honors Dr. Nameer Qader, a CNS Hospice Medical Director who passed away, unexpectedly, in the prime of his life, earlier this year. Dr. Qader was a kind man, dedicated to providing hospice care to all. He was admired by his patients and his colleagues, and will be missed. Rest in peace, Dr. Qader.
